Does any model of BX have an EOBD socket ?

16v does. Pretty sure other EFI models do too, but its basic at best.

i didnt think OBD/EOBD was around back then on UK petrol cars, it was in Yank land earlier

as far as im aware OBD/EOBD is a 16 pin D socket as in the link above,

OBD ? No they dont. The GTi has a two pin diagnostic socket for reading out error codes though.
The Joy of BX with just one Citroën BX to my name now. Will I sing Bye Bye to my GTI or will it be Till death us do part.

Its not for me its for someone i know thats got a 16v and there cars got the ABS light on ?

ABS ECU is seperate to the engine ECU so it wouldn't store fault codes anyway.
The ABS system is quite basic and easy to fault find the old fashioned way.
Start with checking the fuse, then the wheel sensors at the plugs in turn. Start with the front OS sensor, it nearly always is that one.
