no one has mentioned that there may be air in the system? i would suggest bleeding the system via the fdv relief valve, always wortha a shot as i suffered the same prob a few weeks back when i changed all the spheres on the tzd, the rear was lovely and soft but still found the front a bit "crashy" re-bled the system the day after to release a fair bit of air, failing that put some tgd spheres on the front think they are amongst the softest available. i tend to change all 5 spheres every 3 years regardless as they do loose gas whether they are used or not. buyer beware as some spheres have sat on shelves for years nos on ebay for example, i always ask the mfg date when buying from motor factors and avoid the cheaper ones that have been on the shelf for more than a year.

I bought some hydraflush from GSF a few years ago, i know Malcolm Lockwood sells the stuff as he had some @ Stratford :)

Tim, you mentioned you'd changed the lhm, did you do it the proper way, the slightly easier way or a different way to those?

Total will supply. As a club we could buy a quantity and might get a discount. I think the depot is Slough. I can check if there is interest. I can ask, though a proper trade approach might be better. I certainly will be needing some.

Count me in for 5 litres assuming price is similar to LHM. Used my last a year or so ago.

I cheated and just took the tank out and refilled it and washed out the filters.

I will have a chat with Mr Lockwood.

That'll be the easy way then, all you had to do was bleed the brakes & that would have completed it 100%. Its very easy to do, just as long as those pesky bleed nipples aren't stuck in :( Did you wash the inside of the tank out as well?

I did indeed, I will get some hydraflush then

Is it a case of draining the LHM tank and refilling it.

Yes, but it would be better to bleed the brakes so that you know the hydraflush has gotten as far into the system as it can do.

I've still got the Hydraflush that Sandre got me from Chevronics, though I'm keeping it in the hope I can get another hydro-Cit. Chevronics might be another source though? Wonder if Pleaieuoeaudies sell it too?

If you wish to part with it Mr S for a few quid let me know? no rush to do the flush as the TZI will be going away for its winter hibernation when the tax expires at the end of October until Spring.

Also Mat if you let me know about the spheres? I do want it to glide as its not good enough, my Golf 7 has a more compliant ride which cant be right.

I'll let you know once they're arrived and I've fitted them - they should be getting to AEP around the middle of this week. However, I'm not sure this will solve the problem if your Golf is better over the bumps! It'd be a quick and easy job to swap at least the front spheres from your GT, and if the ride doesn't improve significantly, you need to be looking elsewhere. Did you check the ride height?

Not as yet Mat, its in my lock up which is not at home, will try soon.

I could swop the spheres, but as I lent my sphere tool out to someone and it was never returned its a bit of a faff!

The GT and TZi are about 15 miles apart though.
