repair data for 4x4's

Post by citsncycles »

For those of you who don't know I've aquired Electrokid's 4x4 estate. The Haynes book of lies I have doesn't seem to have anything in it specific to the 4x4, so I was wondering if any repair information was available out there for these cars.

Everything about them is contained in the Red Citroen folders that occasionally turn up in the Citro-Meet autojumbles (and ebay). I only know of 2 people who own them and my set is 200 miles away!
I have zero patience for your tedium.

Make that 3 Jay :)

Hmmm... I was thinking of selling them on the grounds that I no longer have the 4x4 and Andy's Autos looks after any major work on the TGD. I was hoping to sell for half reasonable money since I paid £50 for them but it does seem a bit churlish to pass the 4x4 on to you Mike - and not the info to work on it ! Let me know your thoughts.

Other kit I had acquired for the 4x4 project and no longer need - a Weber DRTC that'll need the sawdust cleaning out of it because it's been on the floor in the workshop, and a short nose bonnet in steel (NOS in black primer). If fitting the Weber DRTC then there's a vacuum device that should be fitted as well which I haven't got and is probably as rare as rocking-horse toenail clippings.

Hi Brian, not interested in the Weber or the bonnet, but I'd be interested in the manuals. I'd need a few weeks to raise the cash for them though.

Yes - I guessed you probably wouldn't be interested in the bonnet or the carb - and anyway they're good for any model not just the 4x4 - I mentioned them because I'm very bad at getting around to selling stuff  and anyway - if I ever have a petrol BX I'd be a bit disappointed with myself if I couldn't fettle a Weber for it so unless someone bites my hand off for it I'll probably keep it for a while anyway !
