Hi All,
first post on this forum
Have a question : there is a fuel leak from "something" located near the cam pulley, see picture
Anyone know what it is ?
Car is a BX19 GTI 16v

Hi there
The item you have circled is a join in the ABS sensor. An electrical item that will have no fuel in it whatsoever.
It is however on top of the fuel send and return lines, so I suspect if you can smell or see fuel, one of them has either split or is not securely fastened to the fuel rail on the engine or the metal fuel lines under the car.

Ok, it's just looks like it leaking from that thing !
It's not my car (yet...???) that's one of several issues to solve if i maybe buy it...
F. ex also leak in hydraulic hoses makes it harder to bring home
Still havn't decided...

hi and welcome
as Rob says probably one of those two fuel feed supply lines has perished/split,
i would not run it again till you sort the fuel leak out as its a fire hazard
were are you located
