Hi - Does anyone have any tips on this? After replacing the rear brake pipe the rear was too high, so I adjusted it. Now it's slightly on the low side, but I prefer it, so I need to adjust the front to match as that actually is too high as well. The problem is I can't see how to get at the adjustment nut and adjust it. I can see that you do it from above but access is poor and awkward. Any ideas/previous experience?
Thanks,
Adam

Re: Adjusting front ride height
fitting a brake pipe cant affect the ride height,
also if you run the car with the height to low, it will almost certainly bottom out ( hit the bump stops ) as the suspension absorbs lumps and bumps in the road surface,

Better a drive on hoist or an inspection pit but be warned the car can drop violently when the clamp of moved.MULLEY wrote:4 post lift will make it easier tbh.

Re: Adjusting front ride height
I'm guessing the OP doesn't have such luxuries...I wish I did! It IS possible from below, as I do it just on a set of drive-on ramps. Make sure you can still happily get underneath the car with the suspension fully lowered, as a small adjustment makes a big difference and it is rather disconcerting to see the car sinking rapidly towards you as you are underneath!
Depending on the amount of play in the linkages you may find that ride height is slightly different depending on whether you adjust it on the way up, or on the way down. Obviously if you do it on ramps, it will be more difficult to measure the actual ride height, but a rough guide is 4 fingers between the front wheel arch and tyre.
