any UK BX's with the 6 + 2 pump

the 6+2 pump is for BX's without the FDV

i have this pipe for sale on flea bay

4020 XA
NFP
HYDRAULIC TUBE
FOR PUMP 6 + 2

i had a question asking if it fits a Diesel BX,

trouble is service citroen does not state what variety of BX/engine type it is for?????

any input would be useful

Have you a picture of the pipe in question malcolm, that would help identification.

Edit, OK ive seen it on e-bay, sorry, should have checked first.

Its not a 14TU one, but it may be looking at it, a petrol 16 with no PAS one from memory, it looks similar.

i would think it is for a power steering car, as it states on service citroen being for a 6+2 pump,
so this means as on the Xant's being power steering and without the FDV,

so it could be for a very late/one of the last petrol 1.6/1.9,

has anyone every seen a power steering BX without the FDV?????

on service citroens drawing it shows this pipe going from the pump straight to the regulator,

i dont know Andy i havent had a look as yet,

but your white one has a FDV dont it????

Malcolm, it was me that asked the question on eBay. If it's 6.35mm pipe and uses the M12 nut at each end then it may still be an option. If it is, could you let me know the overall length and I might take a punt on being able to fit it.

i have checked out this pipe today

it is 836mm from tip to tip, 12mm flare nuts, 6mm OD,

and one end has a conventional flare,

this must be because its for the 6 + 2 pump, i suppose Xant like

and the other has a citroen flare,
