Steel fuel lines on 16v...

Post by RobC »

... are they the same outer diameter as other models, and is that 8 and 10 mm?

Sat at my desk miles away from the car, planning on ordering some copper replacement piping and don't want to get the wrong size.

Also would 2m of each be sufficient d'ya reckon?

edit: just found out that yes they are 8mm & 10mm. Will do a forum search in future!

2.5 mtr would suffice but 2mtr is a little short.
I have zero patience for your tedium.

I've been doing some fuel pipe replacement on another vehicle recently, and this is the best price I've found for the tubing:

Quite a bit cheaper than CBS, and thick walled too so you can put quite tight bends in it without danger of kinking.

EDIT - just realised that there is no 8 mm equivalent on there :(
