Distributer oil leak

I assume this will be the o ring. Are they easy to get hold of? It's not pumping out but running down onto the thermostat.

what flavor DIZZY do you have,

as there are some DIZZY base O rings still showing as available from citroen,

if you can post DIZZY make and model i will check for you

Doh sorry. I must have been having a senior moment earlier. It's the fuel pump that is leaking at the base gasket not the dizzy! Is there an o ring in there or just a gasket?

i get them there senior moment quite often these days

a mechanical pump usually has two gaskets one each side of a backerlight spacer block,

the block can crack if its over tightened,
the gaskets you can make out of a cereal box

thinking about the gaskets maybe cereal box card could be a bit tooooo think,

it needs to be single skin card but maybe not quite as thick as Kellogg's

thats if you dont have any gasket paper to hand

You may also need a good sharp pair of scissors, a pen and a hole punch to do the bolt holes with.

Looking again I noticed the leak appears to be coming from the top of the pump where the swage line is. Petrol maybe? There's always been a petrol smell on this car. So anyway saw a new one on ebay for 12 quid so ordered that.
