electric window mechanism

Post by benifotrem1 »

Hi all,
I've just removed the door card on my bx to see why the motor is not responding. To my complete horror I was met with no motor or mechanism. The window is propped with a piece of wood.

Question time again:
Is the electric window motor & mechanism the same on mk1 & mk2 models?

Thanks. I've seen one for 20 euros so I'm going to go for it

I think the mechanism itself is the same but the electrical connectors might be different - nothing insurmountable in any case.
