Always happens when I'm wearing a suit or taking my mother somewhere... (in my TZD) There's what I believe to be a high pressure pipe which passes in front of the regulator, travels to the nearside of the car, with a curve which clips into a fastener on the tray which holds the airbox/filter box. The clip has broken, allowing the curved part of the steel pipe to vibrate against the airbox tray. Descending from the Dartford bridge the other day (wearing a suit with mother on board), the airbox tray prevailed and has made a 1mm hole in the pipe with spectacular consequences - a green haze, massive mess and the red lights of death.
A few questions...what is this section of pipe called, are they available (genuine or copy), or is it worth making up an entire new section?
I've slipped a length of fuel hose over the offending hole with several jubilee clips, but it obviously needs addressing properly.
Advice and/or moral support most welcome.

Not quite sure which pipe you mean there, but most can be re-made or even repaired, if poss post up a pic. Think poss u mean the power steering pipe? If this the case then you may be in trouble as they are no longer made and cannot be repaired, you may find a s/h one on here.

Re: HP leak drama
I have successfully fixed such pinholes with a pen-sized gas torch and silver. Had the torch and a stick of soldering silver always in the car and it saved me a couple of times in a situation were getting a replacement would have been really hard. Just clean the pipe well and heat it before applying the silver.
(And it needs to be proper soldering silver - once in a desperate situation I borrowed my wife's silver earring but that did not stick for some reason and we needed to limp home with no suspension..)

Re: HP leak drama
Most of the pipework appears to be 3.5 or 4.5mm as original. NOT imperial size. Also a lot of us have replaced old worn/rusted ones with Cunifer a nickel/copper alloy with superior corrosion resistance. If you need a short length of 3.5mm, PM me as I have a bit spare. It still needs the correct crimp tool and of course new joining screwins and seals, but these are widely available.
If you need a lot of 3.5mm tubing try a googly on Bonaparte 2CV specialists outside SE Paris. Some OE pipes turn up on fleabay from time to time and others like gumtree but you can't predict when they will appear. Any half decent mechanic with hydraulic knowledge should be able to fix it fine, including yourself. Only word of caution is do NOT use copper pipe as a substitute - dangerous and not up to the pressure and job.
Having just seen rmattila post, he is correct, decent silver solder (use correct flux) will get you out of trouble for a short while. Still best to get a replacement pipe though.

Re: HP leak drama
Just braze it, I've repaired many pipes like this on hydraulic excavators with brazing. Obviously you will need to remove the pipe.

Thanks for the part numbers Citronut. Having seen the prices, I think brazing is the way. I'll have a look this weekend.
