lhm leak

Post by really? »

Hi does anybody know of a bx mechanic in the Worthing area.

Just sprung a leak on one of the small pipes under the radiator, havn't been under yet, raining, so don't know which one.

Very urgent as this is my daily driver and the only car I have in this area.

Any suggestions welcome. Really's Mum

Well in Oxfordshire you had Air Cool Engineering up off Horsepath Lane, next to the rent a storage place Blue Box? Citroen specialist Aston Garage, Aston, or Viner at Thrupp, Faringdon version, if he can be persuaded to do it - he is winding down slowly. If your at Worthing, no idea, I am afraid.

have found a place called The Tin Snail Shack, 2 miles from me. The guy seemed to know what he was talking about and said they make the pipes in question. Booked in for Monday. Fingers crossed I get there.

If its coming from the FDV, it may just need the pipe nuts tightening up.

Yes I realise that but have no tools down here and nowhere to work and it is a very regular drip, not quite running, which has developed over the last 2 days.

Check by glancing underneath the car before driving off in the mornings, looking for fresh damp spots.
