Hi all, I am back again, with yet more irritating leaks.
The latest one to surface its head is one around the temperature switch.
I have had the housing off the engine and welded, due to it being cracked. I have had the full housing apart and cleaned it all, and reassembled it all with new gaskets, I put the switches in, at first with silicone sealant. The lower one, which is connected to the temp clock, is fine, but the higher one, which is connected to the red light, still leaks. I have pulled it back out, changed the switch for a different one, put plumbing tape around it and even put a rubber ring seal around it, but yet it still leaks. I have no idea what to try next.
It is the slightly earlier 1.9 diesel engine without the fuel filter on the said part.
Any suggestions?

Thanks for the replies.
Hopefully I don't need a housing; I have been messing around with it and I believe I have finally got it to seal up, It just needed more PTFE tape around it. I didn't want to crack it again by using too much, which I think is what cracked it initially, so I was just being over cautious.
I had it welded up & they rethreaded it, as the crack was down the side of the port. I have looked around it & I can't see any other cracks, so hopefully it will be fine now.
Thanks again for the offers & help.
