19 tri exhaust
I need to change the exhaust on my 89 19tri auto estate (yes, on the road continuously from new, whatever it says on "How many left"). The front pipe has a box in it, presumably a flame/spark trap or expansion chamber, but the only front pipe I can get comes without this. Does anyone know if this matters or will make any significant difference?

Re: 19 tri exhaust
Won't make much difference. It's just a little silencer, and plenty of 1.9 cars came without them. The exhaust may be very slightly fruitier without it, but there's a good chance you'd never notice the difference!
