Handbrake cable

Anybody got any tips for fitting one.I seem to remember having to take the centre console out last time :evil:

I didn't find it very difficult - but did have to get right underneath to get the new cable through the tunnel behind the exhaust and also had to undo the console fittings to get the cable onto the lever in front of the handbrake. I don't think I took it out completely.

Some (Quinton Hazell) cables have a thick plastic section at the wheel end which protects the cable from chafing on the front guides (the one fixed to the strut)

I lost a fair bit of skin trying to get the cable through to the lever,but everythings now ok and my car has now got an MOT :D :D :D
