Missing Fob buttons (AKA crap technologies)

Post by Gareth Wales »

I have two working Piranha Alarm fobs - well they work when I activate them by a bent 1" nail that I carry around.
The alarm itself is excellent, the fobs though seem designed to lose their buttons.
Piranha fobs are available for £23.44 but I consider the outer case (incl button) should cost as much as £2 ono.
Anyone know where I can get a case with a button?
The Piranha case descrptn is "single button DTI-type, black with LED light 90-91."
Or is a bent nail a better technological bet.
B*****cks  (Sorry, I was about to rant)

I think Maplins may sell some empty fob type cases - as well as some complete ones.
