That's very kind Vanny - many thanks. Will get back to you when I've finally tested mine - seems to be cold in the bottom.

Radiator.

Hello If you dont mind me saying so it really does not pay to take chances with radiators. The consequences dont bare thinking about. Overheating, head gaskets, cracked heads ---------. Because the rads are the "wrong" way IE: horizontal flow with fine small bore tubes they do seem to be very prone to blocking up. Distilled water and at least a 50% coolant mix seems to be a lot of trouble to go to but it works.
Cheers.

Yep, that's the correct number for a turbo diesel radiator - there's one on ebay right now!

There was another one on ebay a few weeks back - last bid was 10Stg if I recall-but he wouldn't ship to Australia :x and didn't offer pickup in the UK. I ended up buying one from M&C Lockwood and having it shipped over here as mine was totally shot - cost me 200STg delivered which worked out to AUD$511 - a bargain compared to getting one made up locally or imported via a Citroen main dealer.
It and the new lower rad hose have solved all my heat problems - car sits rock solid on 82-85C except in heavy traffic at low speeds - it creeps up to about 88C and sits there.
cheers,
Roscoe
