My BX's air con is gassed each May with RS24 and cost me around £75 last this year, as a couple of 'O' rings were replaced, but considering it lasts throughout the summer (and works well too!) and will still cool the car (albeit a bit slower) effectively 12 months later - I figure it's acceptable as opposed to ploughing in £2-300 for a R134 conversion. OK I know in three or four years it will have 'paid for itself' (although I imagine you'd still need to regas in that time), but I might not have the car then. Mind you, I said that in 2003 :roll: :lol:
