Yes I'd read it 3 times before I saw your post as well, Billy.

Still:- "The system is guaranteed for as long as you own the car, and this is a fully transferable warranty." obviously clarifys the situation.

   Well spotted, Jeremy. Another clear as mud description from the manafacturers.
I wouldn`t like to tell Mr Hollo-Tas (perhaps it should be Hollo-Gesture?) this though because if he can walk from Leeds to Carshalton in a `few minutes` he must be very fit and could out-run my car!

I really wish I had installed one of those back in '93 when I first got my BX --- when I think of the amount of exhaust parts I've changed over the years. It's a pity there isn't an equally durable and long lasting material for CV boots.

Hi Folks,

Just a tip, when fitting new or sections of exhausts, smear a layer of silicon sealant on the mating surfaces.

This will ensure they come apart with ease in the future...

Am I the only one who thought Carshalton was in London and didn`t know of a train that got from Leeds to London Victoria in 40 minutes?
Yes, saw that too, (& the guarantee) thought about posting but then decided that maybe they had two locations :?
Or maybe they moved to Leeds asnd decided to use their old ad. :?
Anyway there is no doubt where Carshalton Beeches station is : :)

Yes, i spotted both strange statements in the e-mail they sent me, i decided to ignore them as i wasnt going to get one fitted anyway.

Can anyone find a company that makes a s/s exhaust cheaper?

The 16v, GTi and TD have the same back box
hi there,
bloody hell i wish i knew that!! i paid 50 quid for a 16v back box not tooooo long ago then i half wrecked it and put the old one back on when the ? shape part of the pipe burst leaving my new box to bounce of the ground and under side of the car. but the point is there are plebty bx td's and a couple gtis in scrappers near to me, wish i knew 16v and td share the same part as i could have had one for a tenner.
