A problem eight selector

Post by Gareth Wales »

My height selector lever has always been heavy to move, particularly for citaerobics, but since fitting a new accumulator sphere, its impossible to select the highest (change wheels) setting. Any solutions guys?

Is that linkage still stiff Gareth? I cannot see changing the Acc sphere doing anything?? we lubricated everything at the rear perhaps getting the front end on some ramps and following the rod from the lever end forwards lubricating anything suspicious looking might help, I gather that the car is still rising and falling as it should?

The ride is superb now, Stewart, but it feels as if there is pressure - rather than in the lever - I've looked underneath and your magic lube mixture is effectivly everywhere you'd expect it to be. I'll have another look tomorrorw - but that height lever has always been heavy. Strange :? :?
