Out of curiosity, and on a more pratical note, does anyone know of a K&N type filter that would go straight on to the intercooler, ie on the R or o/s?

That would tidy things up loads, and give a little boost to performance?

And I had a peek at my brother's Xantia the other week, that drive belt with alternator, a/c, and pump (IIRC) looks like a real nightmare! :shock: I'm glad I've got a BX :D

Dont bother with a cone type filter, they just sound like they belong on a buiding site, just put a panel type in the standard airbox :wink:

Agreed, diesels sound like Lancaster bombers with cones on.
