Radio decoding
Hi does anyone here know of a friend or can do it themselves I have a Philips radio that was given to me by our good friend Billy but it needs decoding and i have been quoted £20 now i dont really want to pay that I am trying to download the code calculator of limewire as I already have a lot of coding software but none for Philips.

I thought the code for philips was in an e2prom?
Used to do it years ago, but it needed a laptop and a probe that you attached to the radio (over said e2prom)
I think grundig's can be decoded via the serial number ...

Hi, I had the same problem, there were many places charging 20 quid, but eventually I found a website with a forum were you give in the serial number and someone tells you the correct code for free. I will try to remember the address of that website....I will let you know

Sleepy - I think the answer for the Philips is quite simple and has I'm sure been given on the Frenchcarforum a number of times - as I think there is some confusion in getting the thing to take the code or something.
Quick search gives the following link - but if that's no good I suggest you search there as you will know what you have.
