Hi,
The problem with some aftermarket sporty exhaust parts is you can end up with a headache after a drive.
My 16V sounded quieter but much more 'sporty' when I replaced the very tired old Sebring end pipe with a proper new silencer.
The MK2 BX16V has a nicer shaped end to the pipe, but otherwise it is the same as the 8V device. That would fit on your car, but finding a new one is hard.
