rear exhaust hanger repair

Post by classic2cv »

A little while back someone posted a few photos of the repair that they made to their rear exhaust hanger

Are the photos still on the forum?

or any photos of what the hanger should look like before it drops off

Mine went with most of the bit of boot floor that it was welded on too

Not too difficult to repair though. I did have some pics somewhere .. I'll dig them out

Hi,

Did that self same job last week, including other areas to the rear and boot floor...

When you remove all the rusty sections, you may have quite a large area to repair, to enable a secure fixing, just need some more paint on it to complete...

Pics below not too good, but may help...

Good luck
