Progress on 17RD D526 WCW at May 07

The car has been SORNed since the end of March 07.

Some stripping has now taken place, with all lights, bumpers and front wings removed. These will be refurbished off the car.

Meanwhile, a replacement driver's door has been resprayed iris blue, to eventually go on the car. I've also found a source for replacement sills; a local company to me, Gramic Supplies (auto refinishing), is also a Hadrians agent, and I could get a pair of sills for just under £50 inc vat.

The interior will be stripped out in due course, there is a replacement ready to be fitted.

The rear subframe repairs will wait until later; these will need to be done in a properly equipped workshop.

The engine will be dealt with last; it may be overhauled or swapped with a spare unit. If the latter, the old engine will be retained for refurb out of the car.

WCW is dry stored in my lockup currently.
