Heya fellow Kiwi ^^ ^^ ^^bx> driver

Guy I got my BX from up in Jaffaland worked for a Citreon Dealership, he had replaced the wheel bearing s on it so I am taking a guess that he got them quite easily in NZ although not cheap (as always).

Try giving Gary Keith Motors a ring up in Hamilton? They are pretty good got a good rep in the Waikato area.

Hi Kiwi and Adrian, I will do some asking around next week and keep you informed . Adrian depending where you live, Kiwi's info may be helpful, but I will try my usual bearing supplier and see what they have.
Thanks everyone else, armed with the bearing & kit numbers makes it a lot easier to start the search.
Cheers Gerry

You'll find the SKF bearing number is 2400K or some derivative.
I had hells own job tracking them down until I was advised I had to use an authorised SKF dealer.
He denied all knowledge of being able to get car parts (as he is a power tool repairer) but once he tracked it down and it arrived, it had the word "Citroen" in very small print on the end of the box.
Just thought I'd mention that for when they start running you down all the dry gullies.

For you folks in NZ, try Phil at AutoFrance in Manakau City, Auckland (autofrance@xtra.co.nz) - he seems to be able to get parts for most older Cits and is pretty knowledgeable on them.

If you read the small print you'll find that this seller is a "trading arm" of Germs and Swedes....
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Thats ironic, since the local GSF isn't the slightest bit interested in selling BX stuff anymore. Unless you want two year old "new" amtex spheres of course
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
