Near side rear arm bearing - still leaning. Any suggestions

Post by Oscar »

Hi Guys

replaced the rear arm bearings about 6 months ago. The near side never came up as straight as the off side, and now when I look at it it seems to be leaning more than ever.

Do I need a new arm? Or is it just a matter of adjustment?

Depends on where the wear in the arm happens to be.
If it's where the outer cones sit, then the arms cactus but in most cases, this is often caused due to incorrect setting of the pre load. May have stuffed the bearing in the process but that you won't know until you drop it off again.
