When I received the "proper" HT leads from Tim, my classic car friend Peter offered to change them, as to be quite honest, he has more time than me.
Anyway, went to pick up the car, and Peter moaned that "it wouldn't start after he changed the leads".
The reason; he'd put them in the wrong firing order !
Peter normally works on a Morris Minor and Triumph 1300.
On the BX, the firing order is "back to front", ie the no 1 cylinder is at the flywheel and not cambelt end, as in most "more orthodox " cars !
Despite being "unorthodox", I think the BX is much better than some comparable "conventional" cars !
