The taper pin isn't worn mate...I replaced the cv gaitor a few weeks back and in doing so realised the joint is bu&&ered.....it's loose in the 'socket' is how it's shot!! I can only assume it is the correct part, you never can tell with GSF but I don't know if any other parts will fit...

I've been crawling round my Td today....Got FSF b/js and with no sheilds, and a good few more 1000 miles than the 16v and they seem ok. Perhaps a bad egg or I've cooked the one on the 16v...don't drive that hard though...
