My 217000 mile TZD is being a little uncharacteristically 'playful' at the moment., hence my first post. I'm here thanks to the kind assistance of Marty, btw.
The indicators and blower failed together and, interestingly, the alternator light illuminated but has since gone out. The hazards work, fuse number two replacement had no effect, and I swapped all the relays but it's possible the one's I used may have been suspect.
Any ideas gratefully considered.
Many thanks.
Bill

Thanks Ken, I was hoping for a confirmation I had got it right.
First saw this on a Massey tractor about 20 years ago, but then a BX is hardly the same thing.
Doc has offered a replacement barrel. As soon as it's fitted I report back.
Curious, Phillip was asking for the same thing a few weeks ago, and only tonight my old Landrover barrel failed.
Is it something to do with the Chinese New Year?

But in this instance I'd plump for the ign. switch aswell...
Unless it's something else!
BTW Sorry Terry, got a rather bad dose of Arc-eye and didn't make it up the farm, but I'll be up there in the morning so will relieve the dead car of it's barrell and wham it in the post!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
