Rear Suspension Strut Vent pipe

Post by MULLEY »

Yup, mines bust, rang Shitroen today, & guess what, neither the vent or the return pipes are made anymore & none are in stock. Anyone got any ideas?

Will a Xantia pipe do the job? the bloke at the dealer mentioned this, it does measure 790mm (not sure the length of the BX one?).

And before anyone say why dont you measure it, its pitch black & freezing cold, & i dont fancy laying underneath the car on the road. And i'm being lazy as well

Or has anyone got a 2nd hand pipe they want rid of?

Cheers

The BX one seems to measure 850mm (Ref 7905026869). It is not marked NFP (no longer available) on the Portail AC. Is this part really a problem ? All it does is let the air in and out of the strut.

Incidentally, the leakage return pipes are not marked nfp either. Can you trust your Citroën garage ?
