There is this urban myth that you can run diesels on what you find at the back of fish and chip and kebab shops. This would be very cheap. (OK I know you have to declare it to HMCR). The point is, do you need to do anything to the oil like filter it, add white spirit, etc, and can it do any damage to the car? I have a TZD.

There's a massive amount of information on the web about what you can and cant do with regard to running diesel engines on "other" oils. Google is your friend.
