Hi There,

The brakes are powered by the hydraulic system, as is the suspension and power steering (where fitted), the reservoir for the hydraulic fluid (LHM) is found at the front of the engine bay on the drivers side. LHM is readily availabe from most motorfactors or Citroen themselves if you have money to burn.

Good luck with the pad change.

You can pick up a haynes manual for the bx off ebay for a few pounds which may be invaluable to you.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
