I fitted Klebers to my now sold 16v. Superb in every respect (except sidewall graphics - but hey ! :D ). I got them when ATS were doing a deal and I got them for £55 a corner all in, fitted, etc.

Whoops - Jeremy has already said this - apart from the bit about fitment in France. Due to the disappearance of the edit function I can't disguise my tendency to not read all of the previous posts before posting myself....

I think Michelin do have an even cheaper Polish budget brand as well but suspect this is nowhere near as good as Kleber.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Did I suggest you buy them?

Presented in the spirit of information good or bad about Michelin. Can't be as bad as the Hankooks attached to a set of ZX alloys which I inadvisedly bought. Skidded at 15 mph on damp supermarket car park. Learnt my lesson.

Polish rubber probably just as good as the delaminating Brazilian Fuldas I once inherited on a TGD I bought. Couldn't work out what the regular vibration was, then changed the things like a shot when I saw the bulge.

We have started using some wierd polish tyre in work on some of the lances. They are actually amazingly good in the dry, but they howl all the time.
But bejesus they are foooking bad in the wet!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I had this too, stopped twice on an M4 Journey into Wales to check and could see no problem, then it seemed OK, then the front offside tyre exploded at 70mph on the way home!

To be fair, I think talk of a cheap Polish brand bought back bad memories for Stu of a nasty experience he had with a second hand Stomil tyre, that's all - hence the exclamation and the link to his blawg :)

Cheers,
Mark.

Haven't seen Pirelli's plugged yet so here we go! My TZD came from JKW shod with four P6000 185/60 tyres. I've had several occasions to be grateful for the tremendous grip in both wet or dry and on dodgy surfaces 8). Budget allowing I will replace with the same when the time arrives.

sorry my information may be a bit outdated but about 5 years ago I followed the test results of which magazine and bought Continental ECO contact. I was very happy with them! When I replaced them a few years later I wanted to put the same tyres again but only realised later that I got Continetal contact, which where completely different and not as good. It was not even a Bx but I would buy the ecos again.

just ordered a pair of Pirelli P4 Cinturato, a recommended best buy from which magazine...I usually spend a bit more on tyres, because safety is worth it...

it was £ 51 each including fitting from tyre shopper (will be fitted next week)
I went for the standard size 165/70/14 as I always loved the slim tyre citroens
