Peugeot 406 wheel compatibility

Post by Mike E (uk) »

Sorry if a bit off topic,

I am looking for a space saver spare wheel for my 406 (LPG conversion means no spare wheel well)

I do not think 406s were ever supplied with these, but I expect a Citroen or possibly Ford one would fit. 205/60 15

Any ideas?

thanks

Mike

Xantia & BX wheels fit - why not use a 14" BX rim with 165 section rubber?

The first release of the BX14 had 4.5J rims with 145section tyres.
Should still be possible to find a genuine "emergency" wheel which is down in the 100-120 section size, exactly to save space and weight.

This wheel will safely bring you to nearest service point - at reduced speeds.

Mike,

PM, as I have just the very item you need AKA a P406 space saver spare wheel.
NB it is intended for use with Alloy wheel bolts as it has spacer washers welded onto the whell rim.

Kevin.
