hi guy's, another problem with my car, what a supprise, while sortingthe pump the ignition messed up, the key would not come out, AA guys had a bash it out. would a citreon dealer be the est place? or can you get them from gsf or euro car parts, i had a look at eurocarparts and it came up with a load of them but none of them saying BX, are they all compatible?

Wreckers you must have dozens of BXs loctaed in wreackers nearby? Maybe try Ebay.

GSF and Euros do them (or at least a complete ignition lock assembly + key). Ordered a BX ignition switch today from GSF - N92810 @ £41.90 + VAT. Have experimented before with dismantling to sub in a known good barrel but not too easy a job (for me at least).
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

I have the top half of a BX steering column form a TZD that i broke for spares

it has the lock fitted to it

i think that it fitted as a replacement part shortly before it was taken off the road (it looks very new & it has the later type key)
