disintegrated cooling system braided hose!

i thought i'd be able to fit it... but no joy i'm afraid. I had to take it to the garage in the end.. losing about 8 litres of water from the leak on the way! timed journey to avoid traffic and thankfully i passed a petrol station when i'd run out of the water i brought in the car. A few more big 2L bottles of water got me there. It was all a bit touch and go for my liking.. and i wouldn't advise anyone do the same in that situation!

Anyway the good news is the new hose is fitted, got them to check the others, bled and refilled with proper citroen coolant (expensive).

I won't tell you how much it cost but at least the car is nice and healthy now and that puts my mind at rest somewhat.
