Temperature gauge needed...

Post by Matt H »

I have got the instruments from a GTi fitted at the moment, I am now looking to get the temperature gauge working.

I have read the guide here:

http://www.tramontana.co.hu/citroen/cooling/cooling.php

This is fine, but it does not explain how to do it on a BX 14... or even if it can be done. I am unsure of the location of the temperature switch I am replacing, although I know there is only one, unlike the other models, which have two switches.

All I really need is the correct part number for the temperature sender, and I will give it a try...

Any help appreciated

As your car has the same engine as a 106/306 etc which most of had a temp gauge I would use that as point of reference and get a sender unit for one of those and wire it in.
Lots of Motors, mostly semi broken....
