Is the statement below, actually correct?

HI, DO YOU KNOW YOU CAN FIT THE TWINCAM HEAD TO THAT ENGINE AND THE 2.1 DIESEL CRANK ALSO FITS, YOU CAN THEN USE CHRYSLER NEON PISTONS GIVING A 2.3 ENGINE WITH AND OUT PUT CLOSE TO THE T16 RACE UNIT, OF AROUND 450 BHP. REGARDS ROB.

Sounds plausable (except 450bhp), but whether such an undertaking would be advised, is a different matter entirely ;-)

Pissed us off a bit on the Xm club that. As the car is really nice and clean and will be wrecked just so some Barryboy can put the lump in his Pug.

The 2.1 TD crank fits a BX valver with minor mods....its stronger but heavier, so a better option for boosted engines.

What I can't work out is why they bother ripping CT engines out....they're crap, or certainly if all you want to go is rag it around everywhere! They're lazy, very inefficient, very very thirsty and the head is majorly restrictive.
Guess it's just so they can say they've got a boosted 205 I suppose

A chap in Barry has done exactly the same thing. It was a lovely Black Exclusive before he scrapped it.

To answer your question Mulley I wouldn't have a clue. But this guy seems to be asking high prices...£20 for a fuel rail

450BHP indeed........ bullshit springs to mind.

Why bother?

An Mi16 was a purpose built, lairy, balls out fantastic engine from the outset, so if you want a thoroughbred balls out lairy engined car, get an Mi.

Like Kitch said, the CT engine was shite from the get go.

And would anyone really want to put anything made for a Chrysler Neon in their car?

Pointless.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
