You can....

... but they're not road legal either. Max for a dipped beam is 55w. You can have anything you like as a main beam, but not a dip.

I've got a couple of 55/100w bulbs for the BX - the difference is noticable althought I think they are pretty good headlights anyway. Most of my driving is on main beam, so it doesn't bother me to have a (relatively) dimmer dipped beam.
