Talking to a guy from Citroen NZ told me they have started carrying stocks of them after increased requests from dealers needing to replace them as the BX gets Older.
New one on me has anyone else experianced this or am I just ignoring/not noticing a problem and thne again what is the problem? Then again is this one of those NZ things again?

I assume you mean the strut top mount's?
Yes, like all hydraulic Cit's they get old and fall apart eventually, the result being a strut through the bonnet.
They're about £90 + over here now, and needless to say all the cars in Chevron towers fleet have new ones.
Check from above and in the wheelarch.

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!
Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Yep Doc that was what he was refering to I think. Now got an idea of the price being NZ just double that gives an idea.
What this guy was saying is they used to just order them from France when needed now they are carrying a good stock in Country because its becoming a common problem as the fleet gets older.
Sort counterracts those comments that they are not carrying so much stock anymore because of the age of car. Apparently the problem is also on the XM as well.
Makes me laugh though the Octopus pipe is a common fault yet they have to order those parts in from France
