I am in Worcester.

Tim - I wouldn't do that. The tool is safe in my Dad's garage. Let me know when and how you want it back.

Reduced as I really need to sell this car. Drives as well as a BX can except for noisy drop links. Uber reliable. Needs TLC to passenger door hinge.

Hi Lee - I will take some ASAP. The one's I have are very dark. I have worked out how to transfer them now... Need to sign into Google on my Android phone, then take picture, then email to myself. At the moment it is very messy inside and dirty outside, which is not a fair representation of what is a rather smart car in a good colour for a BX, metallic grey.

My BX is now on Ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201089183098? ... 1555.l2649

I think it's worth more than the starting price now that the hinge is fixed, and it's got a long MOT and cost £400 at last MOT for new rear brakes and exhaust.

Thanks Rory. I have highlighted every conceivable defect so can't see it fetching a great deal. I would rather do that than writing just "BX For Sale, average condition, needs some work" as then you never know what your buying into, but perhaps a list would have been a better way to go.

I hope the sale goes through and that the new owner will be on here.

Hi Rory

Thanks. I'll wait to see as I have only had brief messages from the buyer. They seem to have some Citroen Ami related ebay feedback.

It was a sad day as my BX drove away to Northamptonshire but I was reassured by the words "another one saved" and it takes me out of financial poverty and a bit of a rut worrying about what to do with the car when I move house and loose the drive. Maybe one day in the future I'll own another but I am thinking I'll probably try something different as I had this BX for so long, unusually long for one of my cars. Best of luck to the new owner; it's worth saving and improving upon.

A guy called Justin. He said he thought he knew of you, perhaps though 2CV circles. He had a few TD estates and a 2CV van apparently. Nice chap; they came on the train wearing 2CV T-Shirts so I couldn't miss them :)
