The subject of the original post sold for £965 but has been relisted and is now fighting it out with another red valver. Irony, or what? That's 11% of the entire BX 16v cohort if the '18 only left' pitch is to be believed. What are the odds on that??
Sorry if these cars are being sold by anyone on here, but I have to ask, if they really are desirable examples, why are the sellers so keen to move them on?? I'm not sure the rarity argument will hold quite as much water...

You speak wisely, Kitch.
Has the 1990 car got the wrong interior?

Monza wasn't it? That's right until early 91.

The changeover was very late then.

Yeah, most cars have the Monza. Only cars from the last 18months or so had Le Mans.

Because they've grown up, had a kid, not been able to touch car after having got it in the air and found repairs needed some three months hence. So rather than put up with the eternal mill stone, they've banged them on eBay to get shut. And in the process flooded the market to an extent I took mine back off ebay and no one even noticed!
Oh and I assume the seller means 18 taxed?

The market for all BXs is very small & diminishingly small for those with no MOT.
I bought my valver when my kid was 1 and she is now 15.
Car will be back on the road again as soon as I can replace a worn lower balljoint out so it will pass the MOT.
That was the only thing it failed on.
Hardly a millstone that car. I have not grown up yet either: I am currently shopping for a far less sensible car than an old BX.
The BX is not my daily driver though, it's been a toy for about the last six years.
