BX TXD ESTATE SPARES/REPAIRS/GOOD SHELL & INTERIOR

Post by ben » Thu Feb 18, 2016 9:17 am

L reg TXD estate, charcoal .Cat c due to a previous shunt/value situation.
Pretty good shell and great interior (gti type?),no serious rust just a surface scab or two, evidence of the pulled dents behind the front bumper ,and a denty driver door (dented and pushed back out but not dressed, a la Parisien-look
Needs head or even engine , I've had the car ten years and it's been very faithful but a head gasket failure and repair failure to solve has forced my hand a bit .Shame to waste the rest so..
Car is at Chevronics in Hitchin , can ring them for details ,or message me benford590@gmail.com
£300? or any offers?
Ben

Hi..where do i find the code ? I'm going to Chevronics tomorrow i could have a look.
V5 just says grey ,it's a very dark grey .
It started with it seemed an airlock in the cooling system , bled and topped up but quite pressurised i noticed ,then one day sudden clouds of smoke you know the drill, but running fine, until i got home switched off and wouldnt go again .
Head skimmed, new gasket , still pressurising badly. So there's probably a crack somewhere .

Still open to offers ..don't want to scrap it really it would be good for spares should you have the room and the means to move it ..
