Thats grants, I did think he was biting off more than he could chew, I hope it gets saved but I doubt it.

My thoughts exactly, I think scrap value is all its worth, good luck loading it onto a trailer whoever buys it. Shame if it gets broken up as Mk1's in solid fettle are thin on the ground, a brave resto in my opinion.

I think it'd be a nice case for a resto, being a mk1 in white etc. Can't remember the last time I saw a hatch version.

Brave resto though. Do-able, but not one for an amateur.
