Hmm. This does not resolve the fundamental problem. Reducing the amount of soft, degrading rubber, thus increasing solid, non degrading pipe work. Where there is a need for a rubber pipe to get it into a position where it is simple to fix. Then pack several repair sections of rubber pipe and Bob's your Aunt Lucy and you should never have another low pressure or return LHM leak that causes a fail on the road. Very little else goes wrong on the oiler version, so it brings the reliability into the top rank.

At the moment, its far easier to just go buy a new Octopus from Citroen and fit it.

While I understand the benefits of the brazed manifold (possibly in copper?) I dont understand why anyone would use rubber in this day and age, especially diesel leak back pipe as pictured.

Much of my low pressure return system has already been replaced with silicon pipe which gives far better UV/Oil/Temperature resistance than rubber. It also means i no longer need to buy strut return pipes every 4 years!
