High miles but looks like a nice car, Speedlines to and it needs a bit of work but nothing major.

Hi Martyn,
I was just about to make a posting in THIS thread for J735 JCD (After checking to see if its made an appearance before on the BXC)

After reading thro' the previous thread/posting I see that it started off @ £995 and then got REDUCED in price to £795, but as the location/photos are the same I suspect that it never got sold !

I noticed that it still has the incorrect O/E door cards and rear seats fitted to it

Good luck with the sale this time round if it belongs to a forum member ?

Well it's got no reserve so probably will sell somewhere between 99p and £350. Bit of a shed TBH. Probably destined for parts, I guess. Wheels and deflector alone have to be worth something. Noticed the badges on the tailgate are the wrong way round - does anyone else have a BX with the CITROËN badge on the left? (Also it's an older style one too). I'll get my anorak.

As can be seen PJ's 'Bertie-Bassett' reg. was H86 AYJ !

Personally I don't like them in black I don't think they suit it at all, to me it makes them look tatty and much older than they actually are?

Trouble is, black shows every mark and smear. As Phil says, you have to spend every hour polishing them and they show the dirt terribly. Cant be having that.

As a chap in the trade, black is the worst colour for showing marks, dirt etc and is a nightmare used as its near on impossible to get them spotless.

But a highly polished black car does look lovely.

Nope still not doing it for me, the BX has too many standard black features that don't stand out on a black car.
