Halfords rattle-canned steelies, odd rear lights (both of which are wrong for the car), odd drivers seat (looks 16v), knackered air flow meter, does run properly when cold, exhaust blowing and no mention of mileage.

All yours, for strong GTi money.

IF he wants to sell at that price: sort the lesser issues out, do something about the wheels (you're fooling nobody lol) and clean the interior FFS. I wouldn't buy it for that, but these days it's still an £750-800 car tbh. If they're Uniroyal all round then at least the tyres probably don't need changing for a while - unlike most on 'cheap cars' these days.

Perhaps it's the photos, but does that black paint look like it has a greenish tinge? I remember a Gti hurricane that was repainted by the dealer as the customer wanted a specific car. Someone famous IIRC.

My Cars: Motorcycle only at the moment, I used to own a meteor grey tgd about 6 years ago and have missed it ever since.

The mot history check shows a magical fall in mileage over the last few years, the car is claiming 90k at the moment.
