yes! well, I also saw a 16 valve on the road with a sign in it the other day with $7,800 asking adn there's a 19 TZi auto around the corner which he's been trying to sell and the asking proce for that has been somewhere near $8,000, as I remember.

Very cheap, these cars are going off the road in increasing numbers too.
Diesels were not imported to Australia although there may be a few private imports only, so I'd imagine there would be a premium on top for a diesel!
These cars are fairly rare in Australia which may account for the difference in values to some extent and the road & weather conditions here generally helps longevity in cars. The other point is that only the more up-market cars were imported, but, still??
I wonder what the situation is like in elsewhere. Anyone know? The Dutch seem keen, in particular, so what is happening there?
