Mk 2 Front wings f/s
In a dark metallic grey colour (haven't the foggiest what the 'real name' of colour is but darker than Platinum Grey) . Not perfect and will need rework to make A1, but they are perfectly serviceable. They are free but will need collecting or postage at cost to be covered.

MK2 Dark grey front wings
Hallo,
Do you still have these dark grey front wings? Can pay you a bit although you offered them for free.
If you do I can probably come and collect.
Many thanks.

MK2 Dark grey front wings
Hallo Vanny!
I live in North London
Thanks a million for your post especially because when I found the label it had actually come adrift and was hanging on with dirt and friction.
The label reads as follows:
"AUTORIS SORTIE
UA1
091355"
The UA1 above is boxed and in large letters so I presume that is what you need to know.
Regards and many, many thanks!

Re: MK2 Dark grey front wings
The paint code is not attached to a label its spray/painted thro' a stencile directly to the vehicle bodywork (Usually in Black or White paint dependent on the colour of the vehicle) and is located in the area "on the inner wing, infront of the nearside front suspension turret, with the bonnet open" as Vanny stated !Turboalternator wrote:when I found the label it had actually come adrift and was hanging on with dirt and friction.
The label reads as follows:

The UA1 above is boxed and in large letters so I presume that is what you need to know.
But if its had some plating/welding done in that area due to corrosion the coding may have got lost/destroyed if the coding was not noted and reinstated or it could have got painted out with black bitumin/underseal after an inner wing 'patch-up' !
Once you have got the correct code from the vehicle, type it into the code box on this the 'glasurit' colour guide link:-
http://www.glasurit.com/COLOR/new-color ... language=1
"Voila" there you have it

Hallo Citronut and RxBx,
Thanks for your posting and thank you for your info and the link. But I am now scratching my head! What was that label I found all about? It was found exactly where Vanny said I would find the paint code! No Kidding!
I'll have another look tomorrow but the car's going to the garage first thing tomorrow morning so I might not be able to spend a lot of time looking.
On the basis of the link I think I might be looking for:
GRAPHITE GREY MET EVM
Once again thank a lot,
Regards,

the wings i have came off an EVM colour car, so sounds good. They are for a 16v and have the 16v spats on, you could either leave them on or remove them without damaging the wing/paint. I'm in Coventry.
That said i will hopefully be meeting up with Bandit soon, so i guess i could pick them up if thats of any use? Bandit is in deepest darkest south wales some where.

Hallo Citronut and Vanny!
First, thanks a million Citronut for the link. I'll stick it in my favourites, together with RxBx's link.
Vanny - I eventually found my paint code it's EYY mS. According to Citronut's link that makes it Meteor Grey. (Also RxBx's link).
Using RxBx's link, (much appreciated as well), and setting these preferences:
Manufacturer: Citroen
Year: 1989
Model: BX
Application: Mainbody
I can see, comparing the two swatches on "Microsoft paint ", on my computer, that EYY is slightly darker than EVM.
Vanny is there a possibility of spraying the EVM to EYY, seeing it's a lighter colour?
Even if it's not I'm still interested so let me know what you want, (£), for your trouble. I could come and pick up from you in Coventry.
I'd be grateful for whatever help you can give vis-a-vis bandit if you are seeing him.
By the way I'm after a nearside wing.
Best wishes all round guys and very well done!

Forgive me if I'm being blind, but I don't see any swatches... The coloured boxes alongside the search results only give an indication of the colour class (blue, grey etc). I can't see any variations in shade in the coloured boxes - for instance between Bleu Olympe and Bleu Lagune, which are very different shades.
Fantastic link though - best car colour matching website I've seen so far!
Mark.

Oooops!
Looks like you're right MNDE!
Must have been the tilt of the screen on my laptop or/and a logical, (but flawed), assumption that they had to be swatches! or the dog did it! (Plus the fact that I must be as blind as a bat!)...
Anyway, If you are reading this Vanny I hope that EVM and EYY are nearly the same!
Best regards,

from recal the two colours are very different. Been away for the weekend and off to bed, but i will double check what colour the bumpers i have are in the morning, pretty sure they are EVM though!
I havent been able to get hold of bandit and havent seen him online so i suspect maybe he's gone away for the weekend?
