What is wrong with the old tank? Perhaps it can be fixed.

Clairey,
I've sent a PM to you.

I maybe able to help, but does anyone know if a Diesel fuel tank is the same as a Petrol as I've never been into petrol versions !

I see you've state its been patched up, which I suppose tends to lean towards its manufactured from Steel rather than a plaggy one which the Diesels use.
Could someone confirm this ?

As to removing them there fairly easy but I suppose more difficult to re-fit !
